Shen (Sunny) Liang is Director of Business Development. Prior to joining Materia Therapeutics in February 2026, he possessed 15 years of extensive consulting experience in marketing and sales most recently as an independent consultant. Previously, he held various positions of increasing responsibility within the professional services group at Salesforce Inc., from 2015 to 2025, where he served most recently as a Senior Engagement Lead. During his tenure at Salesforce, Sunny was a strategic advisor to many Fortune 100 executives, successfully led two key multi-year transformations, and closed over $15 million in sales during his last year alone.  

Before his time at Salesforce, Sunny held various consulting roles at E&Y, American Red Cross and Accenture. Sunny received a B.S. in Computer Science, minoring in Business Management, from Purdue University.
